Financial Aid Appeals
The Financial Aid Office understands that family and personal circumstances can impact your or your family’s ability to pay for Brevard College. Information from your FAFSA, your application for admission, or your Scholarship Day interview may not fully capture these circumstances.
Financial Aid Appeals provide you and your family with a way to notify the Financial Aid Office of challenges that you may face with regards to paying for college.
Brevard College will not consider athletics leadership, ability, participation or performance as a criterion in the formulation of any financial aid award or financial aid package.
Send your financial aid appeal to your Admissions Counselor or to email@example.com. Please use the subject line, “Financial Aid Appeal.” Your Admissions Counselor serves as your advocate through the appeals process and will notify you of the results of your appeal.
Continuing students submit Financial Aid Appeals on their my.brevard.edu account under the heading of “Graduation Grant.” The appeal process normally includes a meeting with Financial Aid Staff in an effort to further understand and assess financial aid needs.
Continuing students are always welcome to meet with Financial Aid Staff to discuss their financial aid and financial planning. You can request a meeting with a Financial Aid Counselor at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also just drop by the Financial Aid Office in Beam Hall (first floor) between or after class.
Financial Aid Appeals do not guarantee additional financial aid. Amounts vary. Please allow 72-hours to process the appeal. Family and personal circumstances, information from the FAFSA, academic performance, campus citizenship, and financial need are considered.
If you have additional questions about Financial Aid Appeals, please contact the Financial Aid Office at email@example.com .
