The 2024-25 edition of the Brevard College men’s soccer team was honored by United Soccer Coaches, as the Tornados have secured the Team Academic Award.
A total of 697 soccer teams (283 men, 414 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 151 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.
The 2024-25 academic year produced several marquee moments for the BC men’s soccer program. Three Tornados earned major end-of-season awards from the USA South, while six Tornados were placed on the USA South All-Conference team as Brevard advanced to and hosted the 2024 USA South Tournament Championship match. Academically, a grand total of 31 Tornados earned USA South Academic All-Conference plaudits, while a pair of Tornados were named Academic All-District.
