About Simon Karpen, MBA, B.S.
Simon has a BS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization from North Carolina State University. He has 20+ years in technology including hands-on work with many core internet technologies and 10+ years managing enterprise-wide programs around capacity, financial compliance, privacy, security, integrity, cloud infrastructure, and data infrastructure. Past employers include Google, Facebook, Uber and DoorDash.Professor Karpen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Asheville JCC and serves on the Finance Committee.
