About Dr. Taewoo Kim
Dr. Taewoo Kim is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the Health & Physical Education Program at Brevard College. In this role, he oversees students pursuing teacher licensure and careers in coaching and sports administration, guiding them through their academic and professional development.
With a commitment to advancing the field of physical education and coaching, Dr. Kim combines his extensive academic background with practical experience to foster the next generation of educators and sports professionals.
Education
Dr. Kim earned his South Carolina Physical Education Teaching Licensure and Bachelor’s Degree from Winthrop University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Education focusing on Instruction and Learning from Columbia International University.
He completed his Ph.D. in Kinesiology with a specialization in Sport Pedagogy at the University of Georgia.
