PERSONABLE AND PROFESSIONAL

Lou Mowad, together with his wife Yasmin (Yasmin and Lou Duo), has toured throughout the world, including performances in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. They have premiered many works for guitar, including the Concerto in D Minor by Francis Kleynjyans, dedicated to the duo. In addition to performing, Lou is a focused and dedicated teacher. He has had many students pursue graduate studies at the finest music schools in the nation, including Indiana, Florida State, Boston Conservatory, and the Franz Liszt Hochschule of Musik in Weimar, Germany. At Brevard College, he teaches applied music and also leads the guitar ensemble.
