When planning your day in downtown Brevard, your only challenge will be deciding what to do first!

Start your day off on the Scenic 276 South Fine Art and Craft Corridor, a 13-mile stretch of highway featuring art galleries, working and teaching studios, shops, and fresh local produce. 

Perhaps you can see a waterfall or two along the way. 

Then, just a short walk downtown will take you to dinner.

End your night with live music or maybe some ice cream from Dolly's.

Depending upon your type of travel, Brevard is easily accessible. For example,

• Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is 20 minutes from campus
• Brevard is located about 20 minutes from I-26.
• Visitors traveling from Georgia, Florida, and other states south of North Carolina, you can take I-85 North to I-26 East. Take the Asheville Airport exit. 
• Friends and guests traveling from the North can take I-85 South to I-26 West. Then take the Asheville Airport exit.
• Friends and guests coming from the East or West can take I-40 to I-26. Then take the Asheville Airport exit 
• Friends and guests arriving internationally, can fly into  Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and then short flight to Asheville Regional Airport

The Brevard Music Center, located in the heart of Brevard, has a reputation as one of the nation’s foremost musical summer training programs and festivals.

More than 400 talented music students gather in Brevard each summer to be inspired by the incredible mountain location, study with renowned faculty, and perform with some of the best musicians in the world.

This legendary musical community offers Brevard more than 80 concerts each summer, including orchestra, chamber, and opera performances.
