The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) gave institutions like Brevard College great latitude when determining who received grants, the amount of grant aid the student received, and who did not receive grant assistance through this program. International students and DACA recipients are not eligible.
The American Rescue Plan gave the same latitude but made international and DACA students eligible.

Brevard College did not consider athletics leadership, ability, participation or performance as a criterion in the formulation of any financial aid award or financial aid package.
Brevard College received $391,170 for use in student emergency grants for the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF II).
