Faculty & Friends: A Concert of Trumpet and Organ Music

Paul Merkelo, principal trumpet with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal; Dr. Bradley Ulrich, trumpet professor at Western Carolina University; and Dr. Vance Reese, organist at Brevard College, will come together on January 22nd to bring their passion for music to Brevard.

The concert will be in the Scott Concert Hall of the Porter Center on the Brevard College campus and will feature the music of Bach, Marchand, Persichetti, William Grant Still, Elsa Barraine, and Debussy. This concert will highlight Brevard College’s iconic organ, a Kirkpatrick-Coleman organ built by Dan Jaeckel in the late 1990s. The concert is free and open to the public.
