Schedule of Events

For each event that requires registration, indicate the number of guests attending in the space provided. Pre-payment is required for some events and is collected at the end of this form. Sales tax is included in the event cost. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Alumni House Friday & Saturday.

12:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Alumni House
Make sure to use the Alumni House as your basecamp for a weekend of fun. Here you can register for the weekend’s festivities, enjoy a snack, skim through old yearbooks, say hello to old friends, and make new ones. (Free)
3:30 PM: Alumni House
Haven’t been to campus in years? Come enjoy a guided campus tour led by BC students. We can’t wait to show you around! (Free)
5:00 - 6:00 PM: President's House
Raise a glass and toast the class of 1968. Join fellow alumni, faculty and staff as Brevard College celebrates the 50th reunion of the class of 1968. (Free, Reserved for the Class of 1968)
6:00 - 8:30 PM: Porter Center
Celebrate Sam Hobgood ‘78, Lucile Smith, and Robert Blocker- Brevard College’s newest recipients to the Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Faculty awards. (Must be Registered to Attend, Cost: $25)

6:00 - 9:30 PM - Oskar Blues Brewery
Oskar Blues is rolling out the red carpet to welcome BC Alumni home. Join fellow Tornados for an evening of food trucks, beverages (beer/cider/wine), live music by the Soul Magnetics, bounce houses, and more. This event is family friendly.

Have a question? Need to sign up for an event last minute? Pick up tickets? Stop by the Alumni House, we will be open all day. (Free)
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Patton Track
Kick off the morning with a yoga session to greet the day. This beginner friendly class is being led by instructor and BC alumna, Thea Dunn ‘15 Free
10:30 AM: McLarty-Goodson Lobby
Celebrate as we officially name the updated MG Lobby for our beloved professors, Grace Munro Roy and the late Rev. C. Edward Roy. Free
11:00 AM: Headwaters Outfitters
Join WLEE faculty for a scenic, three hour float of the French Broad River. This event is hosted by Headwaters Outfitters, owned by BC alumna, Jessica Whitmire ‘08. This event is family friendly and Forks of the River taproom will be serving up cold beverages at the end of the paddle. (Cost to Participate: $30)
11:00 AM: McLarty Goodson 115
Come see what experiential learning is all about and reconnect with your favorite professors. We’ve hand selected BC’s finest: Dr. Jennifer Frick-Ruppert, Dr. Mike Castelaz, and recently-retired Dr. Ken Chamlee- to provide you with an amazing classroom experience. (Free)
11:00 AM: Ives-Lemel Family Field
The Alumni Association & Campus Life will be serving up burgers and snacks during the Men’s & Women’s soccer games. Come grab food and mingle with current students and alumni! (Free)
11:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Porter Center
The Golden Club honors BC Alumni that graduated 50 or more years ago. Come celebrate with classmates, hear from President Joyce, and welcome the class of 1968! (Cost to Attend: $15)
2:00 PM: Ives-Lemel Family Field
Pack your BC gear and come cheer on the Tornados as they take on Berea College for a fall showdown! (Free)
3:00 PM: Alumni House
Haven’t been to campus in years? See what is new and what has changed since you left. We can’t wait to have our tour guides give you an in-depth look at campus. (Free)
7:00 PM: Porter Center
Great music sounds that much better when it is created by generations of BC Alumni. Join fellow alumni for an evening of toe-tapping tunes anchored by BC Alum Jamie Warren ‘02. (Free)
