Brevard College is pleased to announce that Dr. Eva Smith has been awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of Business and Organizational Leadership by the College’s Board of Trustees.
Dr. Smith, who joined Brevard College’s faculty in 2009, is a professor in the College’s Business and Organizational Leadership program. Her research interest is hospitality and tourism business and education trends. In addition to teaching, she currently serves as president of the Southeastern Chapter of Council of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Educators. Dr. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College as well as a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Ecology from the University of Tennessee.
