Senior defensive lineman Robert Dorsey was named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week following a big individual performance in Brevard College’s 38-34 victory over NCAA DII Erskine last Saturday at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
Dorsey, a third-year Tornado from Charlotte, North Carolina, racked up a career-high four solo tackles-for-loss with a quarterback sack in the winning effort.
Dorsey was selected as a D3football.com Preseason All American before the start of the 2025 campaign following a stellar junior season that led to USA South Conference Defensive Player of the Year and D3football.com All-Region First Team honors. In his three seasons so far at Brevard, Dorsey has racked up 101 tackles (51 solo, 50 assisted), 31 TFL, 19 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.
