Brevard College proudly maintains a partnership with the nearby Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI).

PARI is over 200 acres and is located in the Pisgah National Forest. The facility used to be a NASA tracking station for the Apollo missions and is now an educational site.

Brevard College students are able to visit and use the equipment there for research.

The Brevard Music Center is a beautiful outdoor campus only a few streets away from Brevard College.

World-renowned musicians and vocalists perform and practice throughout the year in their classrooms and amphitheater. 

Located 10 minutes from Brevard College's campus, the Pisgah National Forest is our playground.

Waterfalls, rivers, hiking trails, biking, and other outdoor recreation allow our students to go out and play.

Pisgah also serves as Brevard's classroom where Environmental Studies and Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education students go for classes.

Located 20 minutes from Brevard College's campus, Dupont State Forest is over 10,000 acres right in Brevard's backyard!

Dupont is home to numerous waterfalls including Hooker Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Triple Falls. The Hunger Games was filmed in Dupont, and there's great mountain biking and hiking in Dupont.

Gorges State Park is a little more of a drive but it is worth it for its over 7500 acre land and beautiful waterfalls and trails!

The Blue Ridge Parkway can be accessed from multiple points, including through the Pisgah National Forest. It spans from Georgia to Virginia and has sights to see that include waterfalls, trails, and overlooks.

The Bracken Mountain Preserve is located near the Brevard Music Center and is home to many biking and hiking trails.
