Brevard College’s Engineering Science program emphasizes applying core engineering principles to solve real-world problems within a liberal arts context.

Graduates develop the skills in communication, teamwork, interdisciplinary thinking, historical and global connection, ethics, justice, and environmental awareness. These skills and knowledge will make them leaders and team managers for businesses and engineering firms.

The Engineering Science program is pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and School Commission on Colleges and is not yet enrolling students. The curriculum is being developed!

The U.S. infrastructure, rated a “C” by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2025, underscores the urgent need for skilled engineers to drive modernization and innovation.

By training engineers who can address climate change, advance renewable energy solutions, and modernize infrastructure, it supports the College’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community impact.

You would receive a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Science.

Brevard College and each of its programs are accredited by the Southern Association Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSOC). This program will not seek accreditation through ABET.
