Dr. David Gresham
Professor of Voice, Director of Choral Activities
About Dr. David Gresham
Dr. Gresham brings his experiences as a singer and vocal pedagogue to bear in his work with our choral ensembles, and it contributes to not only a healthy, balanced sound, but a positive, integrated experience for voice students. His ensembles have performed at NCMEA, Southern Chapter ACDA, and several churches and high schools from Charleston, SC to Abingdon, VA.
He has been a frequent all-county clinician in the area, and he was invited to conduct the Fauré Requiem with Mid-America Productions at Carnegie Hall in 2018. In addition to his work at the College, David is the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Transylvania Choral Society and Minister of Music at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Brevard.
His voice students have been state and regional NATS winners and have gone on to have successful auditions on American Idol and Janiec Opera Company at the Brevard Music Center. He is past president of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
