Monday, Nov. 11, the student-led service initiatives club will gather local homeless and hunger experts to discuss issues facing the surrounding area.

The 7 p.m. panel discussion held in McLarty-Goodson Building, Room 125, will feature Michael Collins from the Bread of Life and Jennifer Flood from the Haven Homeless Shelter.

A Hunger Banquet designed to raise awareness of the world’s hunger issues, will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Institute Room of the College’s Myers Dining Hall. Participants will be placed in one of three economic classes and given the meal in which that class represents.

Both the panel discussion and the Hunger Banquet are free and open to the public.
