You'll learn by doing. Immerse yourself with at least 35 overnights in the field, learning to lead and instruct technical activities like backpacking, rock climbing, whitewater kayaking and canoeing, mountain biking, and caving.

You'll gain marketable skills. You'll learn how to organize, manage, and lead a high-functioning team. You'll learn to teach well, plan logistics efficiently, and manage risk effectively.

You'll live and learn in a distinct outdoor environment. You'll have class on local rivers and the Atlantic coast, at Looking Glass Rock in Pisgah National Forest or on the bike trails in DuPont State Forest!
