Brevard College placed 154 student-athletes on the USA South Academic All-Conference Team for the 2022-23 academic year.
BC’s 154 academic all-conference selections marks the second-highest total in school history after placing a school-record 167 honorees on the 2021-22 list. Brevard is among the top-five schools in the USA South in total number of honorees, joining Southern Virginia University (219 honorees), Greensboro College (178 honorees), NC Wesleyan University (158 honorees), and Methodist University (154 honorees) in the top-five of USA South Conference institutions.
In order to be selected to the USA South Academic All-Conference team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.30 GPA in each of the two semesters in the academic year to be eligible. Any student-athlete participating at any Conference institution is eligible thus the participant does not have to compete in a Conference-sponsored sport. Additionally, any student-athlete earning a 3.90 GPA or above earned the All-Academic honor “With Distinction”.
