Soprano Kathryn Gresham and pianist Katherine Morgan Palmer will present a recital in The Porter Center for Performing Arts on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 5, at 3:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
Both artists are members of the Brevard College Music Faculty and frequent collaborators.
“We love making music together,” says Gresham. “We especially enjoy bringing new pieces to life and sharing lesser-known pieces with
our students and community.”
In addition to songs and arias by George Frideric Handel, Francis Poulenc, Kurt Weill and Felix Mendelssohn, the program will include a solo piano work by faculty composer Robert Palmer, as well as the East Coast premiere of a set of haiku songs composed by Colorado composer David Kirtley.
