“There are so many things to love about this silly play, says director Elizabeth Kirkland. The Liar has limitless comedic possibilities! Every page offers our actors plenty of room to explore their instincts…and they do, with great fervor and without fear of failure. David Ives did a fantastic job with what he refers to as an “translaptation” of the original play, Le Menteur by Pierre Corneille. Oftentimes, these centuries old comedies don’t age well, but Ives did a brilliant job of creating an adaptation alongside the task of translating the original material for a modern audience.”

The cast includes: Anthony Zuniga (’20), Lisa Arrona (’21), Claudia Dahlman (’21), K’nique Eichelberger (’21) Sarah Hajkowski (’23), Gabe Bernhard (’23), Talley Sugg (’22), and Ben Davis (’23)
